It’s Severe Weather Watch Time Again!
Tropical Storm Edouard gives us a wake up call that this is the prime time to make sure that we have everything prepared for any weather conditions. Check your supplies so that you can ensure a safe environment for your family. Gov. Bobby Jindal has issued a check list for each one of us to follow. We also now have a new site for the Parish it is called Calcashout in place. It has been set up by the Office of Emergency Preparedness through the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. The Mayor wants all citizens to know that the Town of Vinton will do everything necessary to keep them protected.
Have you planned for your family in the event we have a storm? Awareness & Disaster Evacuation Guides are available FREE in the City Hall Lobby
