Jason McGee Fundraiser

There was a fundraiser on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Vinton Rec Center for Jason McGee, one of the Town of Vinton police officers.  The fundraiser included an auction, a silent auction, a bake sale, hot dogs and BBQ, and the Rec Center pool open for use with a donation.  Live music was on hand at the Rec Center Pavilion.  Despite rainy weather, there was a large turnout and the event raised a considerable sum to pay for medical expenses.  Mayor Kenneth Stinson issued a proclamation declaring September 8 to be Jason McGee day.

The Town of Vinton stands behind Jason McGee and asks he be kept in our thoughts and prayers.
