Annual Christmas Parade on Friday, December 6, 2019. Afterwards, there were refreshments in front of the Baptist Church. The evening ended with carols and fellowship.

Halloween 2019

Pictures from the Vinton Downtown area and part of Horridge St on Halloween. There was a spook house open in the old Lane’s Drug Store. The weather was clear and cool and great fun was had by all.

Halloween Trunk R Treat 2019

This year, the Trunk ‘R Treat hosted by the Vinton Recreation Center was moved from the Ted Lyons Ballpark to the Ward 7 Recreation Center due muddy conditions caused by rain. The weather had cleared by the time of the Trunk ‘R Treat and there was a heavy turnout. Afterward, the Rec Center hosted a Movie in the Park for the kids.

Heritage Festival 2019

The day of the Festival started out cloudy and cold but finished sunny and warm. We had a good turnout and lots of people showed up for the food, music, and games.

Homecoming Parade 2019

The Vinton High School Homecoming Parade was on Friday, October 4, 2019. The day was sunny and hot. Lots of people showed up and we had a lot of entries for the parade.

Mardi Gras Parade 2019

The 2019 Mardi Gras parade took place on Saturday afternoon on 2/23/19. Bad weather earlier in the day threatened the crowds, but cleared just in time for the parade. We had a large turnout of floats and the rain did little to drive away those in a party mood.
