The Town of Vinton will present a Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 1:00 pm. Line up will be in front of the Vinton Middle School. Following the parade will be a Kiddie Fun Stop and Mardi Gras Gumbo Cook-Off at the Vinton Knights of Columbus Hall at 1601 Horridge St.

Earlier the same morning will be the annual Mardi Gras Chicken Run. Participants will line up at 7:00 am in front of the Vinton High School, 1603 Grace Ave. The fee will be $10 with children 10 and under free. The run begins at 8:00 am.
