Public Notice to Bidders
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Town of Vinton Fire Department is seeking bids for Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus. Sealed bids must be received by Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 10:00 A.M., at Vinton City Hall – 1200 Horridge St. – Vinton, LA 70668. The Town intends to select the lowest responsive bid by a responsible bidder. Specifications upon which to submit proposals may be obtained by contacting Fire Chief Chris Vice @ 337-794-3402.
Vinton Public Works Accepting Applications
The Town of Vinton Public Works Department is now seeking applications for several open positions:
- Fulltime water/wastewater operator, Level II Certifications preferred.
- Fulltime lineman in the Electrical Department.
- Temporary employee in Public Works.
Salary will be based on experience. Applications may be picked up at and submitted to Vinton City Hall on Monday to Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – noon. The Town of Vinton is accepting applications for two open positions in the Public Works department. The openings are for a full time electrical person and a full time lineman.
