The Town of Vinton is seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team at City Hall. This
position is responsible for managing the town’s financial records, working side by side
with the City Clerk, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with
budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for the Town of Vinton
• Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
• Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger
  Qualifications:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Previous accounting experience or municipal or governmental accounting experience
  preferred
  Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 annually (depending on qualifications and experience)
